    The XCP protocol is used for measuring and calibrating ECUs (reading and writing data from the internal memory). XCP was designed to offer measurement data acquisition with minimal slave resource consumption not limited to a specific transport layer. It can be used in CAN, Ethernet, Flexray networks.
